New Vehicle Shaped Plates.

Nothing much to say other than that it was fun to design a new shape for a party plate for a little boy's party.
The challenge of course was to find a shape that was recognizeable as a distorted car but still could be changed with various graphics and items to be a variety of vehicles. The dogs and workers were the most fun to come up with.

This truly speaks to the dark side of my soul...I want to go and punch myself repeatedly because of the cuteness and goodness this represents. The inner monsters of my tormented soul feel so violated by the happiness this brings to me....I am horrified by the fun of this image...

Anyway, Not sure about the race car image. The dog's helmet doesn't look quite right...it looks like it is floating behind him and not on his head.

I tried all the different options to try and make it look like it was sitting mor eon his head instead of on the back of it. However, it's hard to do that with a vector dog so I gave up. THEN! Like a brilliant bulb going off in my head I realized something...dog's don't really have that big an area on top of his head for the hat to sit on anyways so it probably would slide a little further back on his head...so it's perfect. HA!

These are great! So colourful & appealling. The kids' face in particular remind me of illos from the 60s. They really do look like they could be the basis of a book or kid's animation...just perfect.
