I've gotta' be mean...

I don't do much fan art or versions of other peoples' characters, art, etc. However, I really like borogove13's contest to produce versions of his character, Holdyn Twist. If you've never seen borogove13's artwork or want to see more of this great character check it out here:

I envisioned Holdyn Twist on the day of a hanging serenading his "captive" audience with his own rendition of "I gotta' be me".
I was trying to push my style and technique a little past my normal comfort zone of vector art and I think I came up with a nice rendition of this character. Even if I don't win the contest I've enjoyed working on this piece immensely.

For all those that have missed my submissions, I do apologize but I have been extremely busy and have had no time to produce much of my own work but have been working a lot on other people's projects so I'll try and update more often in the new year!
